Callum 'Pudsey' Duncan, Keith Duncan, Martyn Duncan & Duncan McGill compete in the very first Duncan v Duncan Trophy. All 'Duncans' are competing against each other to score the most goals throughout the season.

2nd August 2008

The inaugural Duncan v Duncan Trophy kicked off at The Meadows when Thistle opened their league campaign at home to Stoneywood. After a 4-0 humping, all Duncans remained on zero.

4th August 2008

Just two games in and the deadlock is broken. Duncan McGILL beats the Bankhead keeper to fire himself into an early lead.

9th August 2008

PUDSEY hits back to level the scores with McGill when he hits the net at home to Grammar FP.

16th August 2008

New recruit Keith Duncan signs for the Jags and by default is entered into the Duncan v Duncan Trophy.

23rd August 2008

Disaster for Martyn as he is shipped overseas as a result of work commitments and will score 'nil points' for up to 5 weeks.

30th September 2008

Martyn returns and there has been no change in the scores since his departure. However, he should find it difficult to get back into the team.

13th December 2008

MARTYN joins Pudsey and McGill on one goal when he scores against FC Polska only for McGILL to add the fifth in a 5 goal rout to take an outright lead.

20th December 2008

MARTYN notches his second goal in as many games. The Duncan v Duncan Trophy challenge begins to hot up.

17th January 2009

McGILL opens the scoring in the home victory over 1st Division Kintore in the 4th round of the AFC Trophy to take his tally to 3. In the same game, Keith Duncan had an opportunity to get on the scoresheet when he came off the bench for a brief outing in attack. He failed to score.

24th January 2009

A goal for MARTYN in the 4-2 win over University Strollers levels the scores at 3 a piece with McGill. For the second successive game, tactical mayhem sees centre-half Keith Duncan lead the frontline in the closing stages but despite his best efforts, he does not find the net.

21st February 2009

In Martyn's absence, McGILL storms in front and opens a two goal advantage thanks to his brace in the 3-0 home win over Deva Dons.

7th March 2009

McGILL adds another to his tally to take him to six and increase his lead.

14th March 2009

McGILL scores the opener against Dyce and races towards the first Duncan v Duncan Trophy Title.

28th March 2009

McGILL continues his fine form and adds two more to his tally.

6th May 2009

McGILL hits double figures in the defeat at home to Halliburton.
