Thistle squandered a two goal advantage for the second time in three games on Saturday at home to JS XI. Keith Reid continued his excellent goal scoring form by scoring twice in the first half before he had to be replaced due to injury. Jags goalkeeper Daniel Adamson spilled a long range effort that allowed JS to reduce the deficit before the interval. The visitors completed the comeback in the second half and the match finished all square.

Further concern is an escalating injury crisis as centre half Martin Rennie also had to be replaced with a back problem. He will join Reid, Steven Beaton, Billy Dailly, Cammy Davidson and Mark Cockburn on the extensive casualty list and is unlikely to feature in Monday's visit to Continental.
